The game began with Vics seeing lots of the ball on what seemed a heavy pitch. The first move saw Steve Abbott and Tony Evans link superbly, playing the ball back to Kyle Armstrong he played a delightful through ball into Tom Field, the midfielder swung over a chipped ball which was headed out by Pitmen centre half Cheyenne Dunkley as Budrys was arriving to meet the ball.

Martin Foyle and Alan Wright's side were seeing plenty of possession with Town struggling to get to grips with the game.

It was Tom Field whom again played assist, when his over the top ball to Chris Budrys sent the striker through on goal, he shaped to shoot, but as he did It was that Town defender Dunkley who slid in perfectly to block the forwards attempt.

It was the end of the game for Pitmen and Dunkley's centre defence partner Sam Craven, when he was stretchered off with a suspected Ankle injury, when he rose to challenge to head the ball with Budrys, Craven fell to the ground in a heap and the physio deemed to substiute the player.

Tom Field was again at the helm of the Vics attack prowess when his free kick after Budrys was fouled by Sub Elliott Durrell, was inswung to Chris Budrys, his header  went narrowly wide of Dan Crane's goal.

It was the midfielder Field who again saw a chance, A Roddy free kick was curled toward goal, the keeper rose and spilt the ball, the ball landed to Field, who sent a thunderbolt shot, over the frame of goal.

Hednesford did however settle into the game and the last attack of the half saw, Nick Wellecomme through on goal, after Armstrong slipped. The striker only had Ben Hinchliffe to beat, Wellecomme rounded the goal keeper and sent a low shot toward the open goal, but was soon to hold his head in his hands, when Graeme Law brilliantly cleared the ball off the line from nowhere.

The Second half began as the first half, with the trickies on top. Kyle Armstrong's long throw, has header toward goal by Michael Clarke. The striker saw his header palmed over the bar by a diving Dan Crane.

Chris Clements began creating problems for Northwich, Seeing a beautiful curled effort from 20 yards out go painfully narrowly wide of Vics custodian Hinchliffe's goal.

Michael Clarke soon saw himself through on goal, with a new forward line of Evans, Clarke and Budrys. Clarke thredded the ball to Tony Evans, who was unable to force a shot as Dunkley slid in to intervene.

It was Chris Clements for the pitmen who took the lead, a goal from nothing saw the Evo-Stik Premier Young Player of the Year - turn Kyle Armstrong and sent a low drilled shot on the volley past the keeper to give Town their first goal of the game.

Martin Foyle decided to make a triple substitution, replacing Michael Clarke, Tom Field and Steve Abbott were Jordan Johnson, Ryan Wade and Nathan Woolfe.

However a defensive mix up saw Elliott Durrell slot the ball home past Ben Hinchliffe to give Hednesford their second goal.

A great move from Northwich nearly brought broke the deficit to just one goal when Chris Budrys played a cross goal ball to Tony Evans, whom slid in and missed the ball seeing the ball go wide.

Literally the last kick of the game was the Northwich goal, when that man again Cheyenne Dunkley handled the ball inside the area. Kyle Armstrong stepped up to take the resulting penatly and sent a low drilled spot kick, down the left of the goal and past Keeper Crane.
